Cost of Poor Quality or Waste in Integrated Delivery System Settings
Intermountain's TPS structured observation tools include 3 elements:
A training document, entitled Front-Line Activities in Acute Care: Recording and Reviewing Structured Observation Data, that describes how observations should be performed and recorded.
A hard-copy Observation Flow Sheet, that the observer uses to manually record observations at the worksite; and
A set of Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet templates, to store results and provide summary data.
