National Denominator
Children under age 18 who visited a doctor's office or clinic to get health care in the past 12 months with a valid answer to the question "In the last 12 months how often did doctors or other health providers listen carefully to you?" Nonresponses and "Don't know" responses were excluded.
National Numerator
Subset of the denominator population in 3 categories according to their answer to the above question: "Always," "Usually," "Sometimes," or "Never."
