Figures have been adjusted for net underenumeration using the 1990 National Population Adjustment Matrix. Year 2001 rates use U.S. Bureau of the Census estimates of the civilian noninstitutionalized population as of July 1, 2001 and are based on data from Census 2000. "Race" excludes multiple race.
