The information on this site is brought to you by In My State State Quality Organization. In My State State Quality Organization provides objective ratings, descriptive information, and information about costs (where available) for hospitalsby location, nursing homesby location, and doctors in In My State. Why consider hospital quality? All hospitals are not the same. Some are better overall, some are not so good. Some do well in some areas of care but not in others. A hospital that rates high on the measures on this website, especially if they rate high with respect to health conditions or issues important to you, is much more likely to address your health concerns well. Hospital ratings are based on a variety of sources, including insurance claims information and patient surveys. Select to LEARN ABOUT HOSPITAL QUALITY.
Why consider nursing home quality? Most people realize that choosing a nursing home is an important decision, especially because people often stay in a nursing home for a long time. So it is especially important to find a nursing home that is of higher quality. Our ratings help you do just that. They cover the results of inspections, the quality of care, and the number and kind of staff available. The ratings are based on health and safety inspections conducted by the state as well as information about residents’ health and well-being that nursing homes must report to the federal government every month. Select to LEARN ABOUT NURSING HOME QUALITY. Choose a better health care facility with ratings from trusted, independent sources.
