Notes:

Creating a well-defined PI reporting process or infrastructure will be a critical success measure for hospitals to be able to transfer knowledge across the organization. Traditionally, senior leaders participate in the PI oversight committee, key leaders who report to senior leaders serve as project champions, and project teams are facilitated by a trained project leader for the application of PI tools and project management. The process of pulling the team together is valuable and enables the revelation of various gaps and overlaps.
