What Role Might Funders of Health Services Research Play?
Figure 1 is a pie chart comparing each of the study design types with the total number of articles obtained in the literature review. Among these, 64 percent of articles were observational studies, 21 percent were review articles, 8 percent were randomized controlled trials (RCTs), 6 percent were other controlled trials, 1 percent were systematic reviews, and less than 1 percent were practice guidelines.
