Symptoms of asthma include cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and phlegm production when you do not have a cold or respiratory infection.

Number of symptom-free days:

Symptoms Less than once a week = 13 Free Days
1 or 2 times per week = 11 Free Days
More than 2 Times per week = 6 Free Days
Everyday, not all the time = 0 Free Days
Everyday, all the time = 0 Free Days

Sample size varies across asthma measures because of varying applicability of questions to respondents and refusals.

N/S=Data Not Sufficient for Release (sample less than 50)

1 Indicates that the State estimate is not significantly different from the best in class average (P < 0.05).
2 Indicates that the State estimate is statistically better than the national average (P < 0.05).
