Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) Estimates on eligibility of Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) 9/13 Julie Hudson

Steve Hill		 Provided technical assistance to Chris Peterson from MACPAC on estimates of eligibility for Medicaid and CHIP using the MEPS data. MACPAC has credited our research as "playing a huge role in providing evidence" that compelled the commissioners to support a recommendation that children below 150 percent of federal poverty level not be subject to CHIP premiums.
House Committee on the Budget Estimates on the number of establishments and firms that meet Affordable Care Act requirements 9/13 Steve Cohen Provided consultation to Erin Miller, a staffer on the House Committee on the Budget, on estimates on the number of establishments and firms that meet the Affordable Care Act requirements on the number of employers.
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Estimates on the cost of newly eligible enrollees relative to the cost of current enrollees 9/13 Tom Selden

and

Steve Hill		 Provided technical assistance to Jessica Banthin from the CBO on the cost of newly eligible enrollees relative to the cost of current enrollees.
Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) Out-of-pocket spending for mental health treatment 12/13 Sam Zuvekas Provided tabulations on out-of-pocket spending for mental health treatment from the MEPS to ASPE that were used in some of the calculations for the regulatory impact of the Final Rules under the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity Act of 2008.
