CMS and AHRQ Partnership Overview
In 2003, States began collection of data on four core clinical performance measures for the State Child Health Insurance Program (SCHIP):
- Well child visits in the first 15 months of life.
- Well-child visits in the third, fourth, and sixth years of life.
- Use of appropriate medications for children with asthma.
- Children's access to primary care practitioners.
