This slide features the page on the HCUPnet site that allows visitors to
search and select databases. There are 5 tabs that visitors can click on:
Instant Tables, National Statistics, Hospital Stays for Children Only,
Trends, and State Statistics.

This slide displays the HCUPnet Web page that allows visitors to search
national statistics for diagnoses or procedures. The text on the screen
is as follows:

Results
This slide illustrates what the results of an HCUPnet search might look
like. For example, for heart valve procedures, a table compares total number
of discharges and in-hospital deaths among hospitals differentiated by
owner and teaching status.
