This slide contains an organizational chart that shows the interaction between communication teams in response to an emergency situation. At the top of this chart is the "Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs;" directly under that is the "CDC Communications Leadership Team," and below that is the "Information Management Team (IMT)." Reporting indirectly to the two top tier teams are the Directors Emergency Operations Center and the Emergency Communications Coordination Center. Out of the IMT are 8 sub-teams. They are: Communication Monitoring and Research Team (CMRT), Media Team (MT), Web Team (WT), Hotline Team (HT), Health Education Team (HET), Public Health Communications Team (PHCT), Clinicians Communications Team (CCT), and the Federal Governmental Communications Team (FGCT).
