Project ECHO: Video Connections Improve Hepatitis C Outcomes

- Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) uses technology to connect specialists with primary care clinicians in underserved communities.
- Results: Hepatitis C patients cared for in underserved communities did as well as patients cared for by specialists at a university-affiliated hospital.
Published June 2 in New England Journal of Medicine; published in June 9 print edition.
