  • Re-competition now open for awards in Q4 of FY 2011:
    • 2 FOAs [Funding Opportunity Announcements] for U19 Cooperative agreements:
      • 6 Research Centers, awards of $800K - $1M annually for thematically organized research projects and infrastructure.
      • 1 CERTs Scientific Forum (expands on prior CERTs Coordinating Center functions), award ~$900K annually.
    • Receipt date May 18, 2011.
  • Dedicated funding from Health IT and Patient Safety Portfolios in addition to AHRQ Cross-cutting Portfolio support.
  • Additional meritorious applications for Research Centers may be funded if funds become available.
