Recovery—Task Order Notification for Comprehensive EPC Comparative Effectiveness Reviews for Effective Health Care (July 30, 2009)
AHRQ intends to issue competitive task orders against Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for the Evidence-based Practice Centers (EPCs). It is anticipated approximately eight task orders will be awarded. The purpose of the task orders is to create a core group of Evidence-based Practice Centers to focus on a comprehensive approach to comparative effectiveness review (CER) and evidence synthesis. Awardees will 1) Develop and refine topics for CERs that are informative to stakeholder decisional needs, 2) Conduct CERs with systematic and transparent methods, and 3) Identify and explicate future research needs that are important to answering real-world health care decisions. The task orders are funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
This opportunity is only available to the 10 contractors under the Evidence-based Practice Center multiple award contract that was previously competed and awarded in 2007.

AHRQ intends to issue competitive task orders against Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for the Evidence-based Practice Centers. It is anticipated approximately two task orders will be awarded. The purpose of the task orders is to have the Evidence-based Practice Centers lead specific research activities for advancing evidence synthesis methods and serve as a resource to the Evidence-based Practice Center Program. The task orders are funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
