The NHQR includes Effectiveness, Patient Safety, Timeliness, Patient Centeredness, and Efficiency. The NHDR includes Effectiveness, Patient Safety, Timeliness, Patient Centeredness, Access to Health Care, and Priority Populations.

Notes: Both reports cover effectiveness of care for major disease conditions and different health settings, patient safety, timeliness, and patient-centered care. The NHDR has an added dimension of reporting on differences between populations for each measure and two additional chapters looking at access measures for each population and a more indepth look at each population.
