This slide is a screenshot of the 2009 State Snapshots page for Florida, Focus on Diabetes. An image of the U.S. map denotes Adult Self-Reported Lifetime Diabetes Prevalence for Each State in 2008. There are four quartiles. Florida's prevalence is between 8.3 and 9.4 percent, which is in the second highest quartile. The top quartile is 9.5 percent and higher, the third quartile is 7.2 to 8.2 percent, and the lowest quartile is less than 7.2 percent.
