Slide 8. Effect on Drug Utilization After COX-2/NSAID Module

The Pennsylvania Academic Detailing Program

Text Description is below the image.

Image: The slide shows a line graph of the effect on drug utilization after the COX-2/NSAID module. The graph compares COXIB spending per physician with months before and after intervention. An internal control cohort is compared to an intervention cohort. Overall, the two cohorts overlap until the IDIS intervention month at which point the two cohorts slightly diverge, with the intervention cohort spending less on COXIB per physician than the internal control cohort.
