- Multi-disciplinary (internal) coaches
- Interval observations, coaching by consultants
- Active participation of consultant experts in unit-based safety team meetings
- Phone calls at unit leaders' preferred time, to review concerns and discuss barriers
- Train-the-trainer model used for new staff
