Obesity: claims-based quality measure
- Were there two visits in the past 12 months with obesity diagnosis included on billing?
- Was there a claim filed by a specialist?
Notes:
The current method of measuring quality is using claims data. So, to measure whether weight was measured and counseling was done, we look at the claims database to see, Were there two visits in the past 12 months with obesity diagnosis included on billing? Or, Was there a claim filed by a specialist?
