If development continues at the current pace, the total number of retail clinics is likely to reach 700 by the end of 2007. By early August this year, there were over 500.
Projected earlier this year by the Convenient Care Association (CCA; Philadelphia PA). In April 2007, Feed-back.com's research indicated there were 408 facilities in operation. By early August, the number exceeded 500 (September 2007 update to Feed-back.com's "Retail Clinic Markets" report).
